I had this idea for bridal shower invites, and I went ahead on worked out a couple different designs that I now have up for sale on my Etsy store. Anyway, I’m a big fan of modern-day, retro-styled outfits, and so I wanted to draw some bride characters that had this feel and incorporate them into bridal shower invitations. I wanted them to be bold, modern and a little bit different from the fluffy, light-hearted bridal invitations I’m use to seeing.
I feel like this one has a sort of bold, sophisticated look – with a big dash of fun.
And this one is just all over fun and sassy, and sweet too! I love the big round balloon.
