Cloud Free

Posted by Rhiannon // In iPhone Stuff // 0 comments

So I keep watch on the games I designed – things that make me happy, reviews that say “Cuuuuuute” and “Love the artwork!” because that’s alllll me on those games! Equally pleasing, that my same issues with the programmer, are the same issues everyone else has with him. He really should step it up. Anyway – lol, if you want to check out my “cute” and “lovely” game Cloud, it’s free right now so download it! And don’t forget to review it – and I won’t be hurt at all if you want to talk about the fantastic artwork and crappy programming.

Preppy and modern doggy stationery now available! As well as matching address labels. As a big doggy lover I thought it only fitting that I do some chic stationery designs. My favorite is definitely the dog silhouette with preppy stripes.

Recent Logo Designs

Posted by Rhiannon // In Design,Illustrations // 3 comments

I find myself working on a lot of identity pieces lately, and I love it when I get to do illustrative icons within the logo. Here’s a few that you can really see are all quite different from each other. The gun one hasn’t been finalized, I was working on some ideas last night and I really like how the revolver illustration turned out. Not sure between the two which is my favorite.

I loved working on the Sugar Snapshots logo with Kristina, one of my fave clients ever! And the top left was for Kim of Cook It Allergy Free, whose blog and iphone/ipad app you should definitely check out if you have any kind of food allergy (on a side note, I designed her blog too!).

I love Little Passports, I just enjoy all the projects I get to work on with them, and I get a great opportunity to be a part of something fantastic for kids. One of the things I enjoy are that the projects are all about other countries – since that IS what LP is all about – so I get the opportunity to illustrate subject matter that I may not be familiar with in a cultural manner. I love doing the research on each country’s background and making sure that my illustrations stay true to each culture. Here’s a few country stickers I designed, India, London and Mexico!

I love the color of the sky in London – though I imagine London is probably more bleak. Enjoy!

Finish Last Days of Summer

Posted by Rhiannon // In Illustrations // 0 comments

And here’s my finished piece! I like the colors in this illustration. I feel like it’s really refreshing and calm reflecting the transition from summer to fall, but still also vibrant, youthful. It was definitely a lot of fun to draw. Hope you all enjoy it!

Autumn Rumours

I love the fall, ice cream shops and gossiping girls! New promo piece I printed as a postcard. I think I’ll do a some more in the same vein with different seasons. I love drawing cute outfits – initially I had planned for an entirely interior scene, so the I had drawn the two gossipy girls in the background full length with cute leggings and boots. But then I decided I liked the idea of separating the characters, making the two in the forefront more private and the girls in the background, even more gossipy because the boy and girl are so wrapped up in what they’re doing they can’t possibly notice they’re being talked about.

My BFF Is a Vampire!

Sending out new promo postcards – and here’s the final for one of them! Love the way this one turned out. I love doing girls back to back, and doing two opposites like this, I thought was really cute. And I think my coffin locker was pretty creative, n’est pas?

Last Days of Summer

Posted by Rhiannon // In Illustrations // 0 comments

I wanted to draw a tire swing and couldn’t decide between a fall or summer setting. So I settled with the cusp lol. The last days of summer, by the lake, on a tire swing. Can’t say I have ever had this experience, since I don’t like lakes. Why – you ask – because lakes are dark and deep and who knows what’s in there (exhibit A: Pirahnas 3-D)! But I digress – if I did ever jump into a lake, and swing on a tire swing, at some fabu summer camp, this is how I imagine it would be.

I’ll be coloring it in, prolly late tonite, or sometime tomorrow. I love it when I get a chance to draw baref eet btw!

Sketching

Posted by Rhiannon // In Illustrations // 0 comments

Sketching is not my thing – I never felt like my pencil sketches looked anything like my finals, and therefore don’t look like what I’m imagining in my head. I’m working on some new pieces and this is a sketch I did recently and I thought it was pretty dang cute – which usually pumps me up for the coloring phase. Anyway, I rarely share my sketches, and that’s why – but here’s one that I felt pleased as punch with the cuteness. And I also rarely, RARELY draw backgrounds – that’s something I can usually just knock out on a computer, so 90% of my sketches are just people, and any objects that might be in their remote area, lol.

Maru & Friends

I love working with Maru and Friends, they’re a line of dolls that come with illustrated story books. The dolls are beautiful, and the projects are a lot of fun. I’ve put up a couple of portfolio pieces in my gallery, be sure to check them out!
